As long as I can remember, I have always been into art. My very first canvas was the telephone book that is filled with drawings of Ninja Turtles rather than contacts numbers.
Today art went beyond pictures and drawing for me. Art shifted forms from music into design, into architecture, into food, into concepts. Anything that can lend a creative idea has caught my attention all these years.
I was in an Apple store recently with a friend and we talked about how Apple became what it is now. Apple has not only sold its ingenuous products but also a concept that serves an extension to the lifestyle that depicts the future. Apple has sold successively sold 'life', in a narrower term of course in light of God.
The art in me has been awoken by this ever invigorating city that I live in. The sounds and sights, the taste, the life... art is everywhere all of the sudden. I am awakening my desires for architecture, interior design, music, sketches, stories, photography, and something that is new to me... the art of the Gospel. Painting a Jesus that people can understand and appreciate.
The very thing that I have not found myself venturing into... and probably will not be getting to serious about... would be fashion. Although I myself have a personal style that would linger by and try not to go beyond.
I am wondering to myself if there would be any part of art that holds strongly to the ministry that I will be in the future?
