No Waste in Sovereignty

I am having the pleasure of my parents here with me for a week and there is such comfort being in their presence. Before they left for the US, I request them to bring some old pictures for me. I could not remember why I asked for it now but I do personally love looking at old pictures of the past and see the growth of people and how God has managed to carried us through time.

As I was looking through it and I stumbled upon a picture that contained a treasure that I have always wanted to seek after for a long time. It was a picture of me with my parents in a banquet dinner that was organized by the church as an evangelistic event. Thank God for the person who gave us this picture because on the back of it stated the details of the event.

I am almost 17 years old today since I gave my life to Christ. That was the very night I made a conscious decision to follow Jesus and seeing me as this 13 year old kid in the picture make me reflect on the life I have lived as a believer and how far I have come and just bask in His goodness that is ever undeniable. Also seeing that the picture was with my parents was rather significant as the dinner was an event where we were to invite our close friends and relatives and my parents bought dinner for the whole table, trusting that the money invested in the dinner would somehow make impact on the friends and relatives that were sitting at the table. None of those friends and relatives came to the Lord until today... but little did they knew that their very son did and I am ever grateful.
