Not Waiting for Perfection

There is sometimes sheer simplicity in following God, but we should not mistake simplicity with easy...

The older I get, the more gracious I find God to be. This I see even in the midst of people around me. It is known to me that my knowledge of God will never surpass what He really is, and even if I try to theorize the possibility of the range of His knowledge, it would still not come close at all.

But God has laid out His plans for us in such that He expects us to  partake it. Not when we would get ourselves completely ready for it but to take it with faith and go with it. There isn't much to it whether to pursue it or not, as it is clearly laid out. The problem is that we get ourselves ready unnecessarily where we let fear cripple our decisions and miss out on wonderful opportunities.

I can't help but to think of several opportunities where I let my own fear and perfectionism came in the way of something I felt like I could have done for God. Because I cautioned myself with the unexpected and fear the failure of the attempts.

God called me into ministry simply knowing that I will fail and fail and fail and fail but in the end to pursue Him again. Because when I get to see Him again, He is only looking for FAITHFULNESS to complete the journey, and not keeping a low record of wrong or pursuing Him the perfect way.
