In The Waiting

Today I had the pleasure again to sit with a pastor that I have come to work with for a short while and to have a moment of sharing. Even as he constantly shares his testimony to me, I cannot help but to find how God's mystical ways and His relentless pursuit for His people.

We all have a desire in our hearts but we sometimes lose our way in it that our desire becomes one that comes from within us and God's desires are slowly blurred out. This pastor that I have sat humbly listening to is a very simple man but yet his heart is big for the people of the world to hear the Gospel. He has dreams so much bigger than what I would even sometimes dare to think of, yet he found humble submission in a way that blesses my worry heart.

We often listen to the biggest influence we can find but some of the little people that does the minute work are the ones that have the biggest desires. As I reflect on my desire to pastor and shepherd those around me in big and heart shattering way but the humility of a faithful servant that seeks only to be faithful in any way possible.

We relate to some of the most broken people because we find a sense of identification and struggles and out of that we find how God is blessing those who are faithful. It reminds me that these testimonies that we hear are not suppose to be treated as possibilities of how we can live our lives for God but it simply signifies that God is capable to do and work in every possibility that defies logic. I have heard of some of the most logical and I have heard of some of the most impossible testimonies throughout the years and it only tells me that God is God and we are ever so small to figure things out for ourselves what is going to happen.
