1 Peter 4:88 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
God's gentle call is getting to me in every way, even in my stubbornness. Today having to witness something I never expected was really a worship worthy experience, when 2 people come together in understanding and forgiveness which transcends from loving one another despite how they both had a fall out.
Even as today's passage has managed to capture me again with my struggle to love on people, I am being subtly rebuked by God about my own heart and the things that I went through. My mind found its way to reason things again and it begs me to embrace bitterness...
How am learning to love, and not just superficially but deeply? Because out of everything that I could have done and everything that I could have reasoned and everything that I could have said, love is something that goes beyond everything else and even in sin it covers and drowns it. When will I learn to give in completely?
