Amazing Grace, Truly Sweet the Sound

I do remember two things: I am a great sinner, and Jesus is a great Savior - John Newton

A man suffered from dementia and memory loss, John had a history that beckons our attention about the grace that overtook it.

Of late as I have come across several passages in Luke about Jesus calling his first disciples and healing the leper, and each response of the people that encountered Jesus had one similar approach; they knew the depths of their sins that made them recognized the saving grace of Jesus. Simon at the point of awareness threw himself to the ground and acknowledges the stark contrast of who he is in the presence of God. The leper had the faith that he will be healed not just of his disease but acknowledges that only the willingness of Jesus is the only thing that stands between his cure.

Jesus then acknowledges their response; which is the way attitude that has brought about His saving grace onto them. So if we never accomplish anything this life here on earth, the least is to find ourselves acknowledging who we are and what Jesus have done for us.
