In The Waiting

There seems to be something weird going on...

In my efforts to pursue a particular aspect of my life, there seems to be a wall of some sort that hinders my progress, or at least in the way that I hope for.

In the past, I would have seen this in a very different light than what I would now. I would have seen it as a hostile counter to my efforts, but today I am seeing it as God's sovereign providence that is safeguarding my steps.

I am at a surprise to the peace that I am experiencing now, simply just because I have come to acknowledge God's sovereign control.

Even as I am undergoing a class that talks about how we deal with things of our past, I am evermore aware of my actions that may have led to my perception today. We all have baggage one way or another which leads to how we response to certain things we face today.
