I Am At Rest

Be still, and know that I am God

I give thanks to God for the morning as I sit here in my room reflecting on life and the goodness that has come upon me....

I woke up this morning in a room, with 2 pillows under my head, a blanket to sleep on and another to cover me. I did not want to wake up, because I felt safe in bed. But as I opened my eyes to the view in my room and with everything in it, I began to sit up and feel at ease that I am protected and provided with everything. So as I got out of bed, I could not help but to feel that everything will be okay. Even as my mind reminds me about the workload I have, I am at ease with goodness of God that never fails.

I could sit still let time pass me by with peace because everything is still under His control. I live for moments like these.
