Hopeful Promises

I can't even begin to know where to start with the goodness and joy that is filling my heart.

One of the greatest lessons that every seminary teaches and urges all seminarians to learn about is a concept that is developed by a German theologian named Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer introduced the perspective of 2 type of grace; cheap grace and costly grace.

Without going into details, we all should be taking the perspective of costly grace. Costly grace involves having to identify deeply the root problem that led to the redemption we now received. That identification by itself is enough to drive transformation in the heart and into action.

I am awed and humbled by things that I am discovering that fills me with so much hope and joy that it seems rather surreal. I have seen the pits of brokenness and how hope has made its way to raise the situation up and display the glory of God.

I cannot help but to be emotional with what I am being presented with.
