Loving people is such a difficult thing...
I am reminded that genuine love must hate. Love is not all about being sentimentally affectionate but also demonstrates hatred to things that are not of God. But we are all people of weakness and full of sin, and we will inevitably encounter each other in conflict. It is sometimes difficult to separate the sin and the person at times, when we are to be loving the person but hating the sin.
But more of a reminder is that people will always have their own lives to live for and take little concern to love on others. There is a spirit of consumerism that plagues the American Church and alike.
Today I am reminded again and again that God is the only One that fulfills and people will always disappoint. God has used things and people that I would never expect to come to my aid, and things and people that I expected would be there, would fail or being busy owning their lives.
Tell me if I am overthinking...
