I Could Tell You Other Wise...

I am being open to listen to people and curious to hear what people have to say about anything and everything. I once made a statement on Facebook about how Christians are just posting up things and making statements about life.

Very much to my amazement as I grow deeper in God, His word seems to speak of much revelation that makes more and more sense to me. I love reading quotes online, quotes that makes a statement and encourages, both secular and biblical. In the past, some of these quotes seems to make a whole lot of sense to me. In fact, many of them move me to view life differently. But as of late, some of these very same quotes are losing their effects on me.

When the truth in the scripture surfaces, it brings meaning to life. God's word is living and it speaks reality, more so than those that only seem to live reality in their little world of theirs. So whenever I read some of these statements and quotes online and on Facebook, I am beginning to have this habit of thinking it through and say "I could tell you other wise"...

People are trying to make statements to capture attention of the people, trying to decipher the complexities of life, weak statements as I put it... Kevin Max wrote in one of his song saying that the world is 'making cheap cliches out of timeless truths'. But with a narrow vision they speak out loud like a new found revelation, hoping to inspire but God is the one and only ultimate timeless being that I can easily respond to some of these statements:

"... I could tell you other wise..."
