Focused faith

All I want to do is to love on people, but it is such a difficult thing to do.

I am in a church where the messiness of culture has taken its toll. Here being in a multicultural fellowship, un-monitored, has led to a slack in keeping up with the vision and purpose of being multicultural. What a danger it is to find ourselves losing to what we know best and revert back to old ways and what is worst is when our old ways are justifiable against the bible.

Seminarians would find themselves setup with pride unconsciously and even consciously, explaining away their very existences to their knowledge of God and in theology.

But godliness has little to do with sophisticated theology... as a writer once said...

Thus loving on people essentially should not be a complicated matter regardless of culture or understanding, but with faith like a child, we see simplicity as an absolute command to show love just as God has loved.
