In the past, I used to tell people that when we come to God in worship, we put aside our problems and issues to come to God in worship, that we may not let our problems distract us from giving worship. So even as I apply this to my own experiences, I realized how hard it is to worship God in brokenness. That I have to put myself through a process of sanctification before I approach him in worship...
How wrong I have been!
Come as you are... give Him earnestly... receive whole-heartedly...
