Finding God in The Strangest Places 2
I could not help but to stop at this image posted by a friend on Facebook...
The two truths being stated here puts a test of love and faith, both of which describes some of the biggest problems in the world today. Those which are the problems of divorce and disbelieve in light of God's truth. People are starting to lose their understanding and sanctity of marriage and the fear of God. What that was institutionalized by the church of God now stands within places that produces a testing, instead of a place that supposedly built for its original purpose.
My journey has always been one that seemed unusual, at least to me. Growing up in church and learning about God at a young age has brought about a certain understanding of who God is that has not all been accurate. It has to come to the point of letting America revealing some of these truths to me. By no means that America is superior in this task but it is the troubles that brought about God to be so much more evident in His ways.
Romans 5:20 speaks of something rather interesting where the awareness of sin is being highlighted through the law but along with that, God would pour forth His grace even more. This is not an excuse to be okay to sin, as Paul urges to take leave from sin as best as possible. But the verse is simply portrayed a little through this statement where in the hardest of places such as the airport and the hospital. Airport; being more than a hub of transportation but a place of separation between people we love and the hospital a place that threatens life.
God is ever so mysterious that love and death is such a lesson that is sometimes best taught in the strangest places... and so are many more truths about God...
