Dates can be insignificant to me, it is only a milestone so to speak to measure accomplishment and endurance. But I don't necessarily disregard dates that others would take significance.
I am talking about anniversaries and special days within the year, and the passing of the new year is something that did not really took hold of my attention other than the fact that I have been greeted by friends about it.
My endeavors of 2013 was interesting and with much to keep me going on. I fell in love with someone that I never thought I would. I found myself being more and more drawn to God because of her as she lives a life to such a reminder that it is solely God that I am living for.
I started a journey of film making with one of God's gift of a great friend this year. It was somehow unusual to the point that we never knew the direction that it would take us to and it was something that just uniquely sprung up. It works as an advantage for me as a preacher and storyteller to be able to share my view and perspectives of what is in my heart about any issues.
Preaching became a highlight for the year in ministry as it seems to be something that I am drawn to more and more. It is rather amazing that I learn in 1 short year the ways that God speaks to motivate me to preach. Even to the point of developing my character as a person to communicate to others.
I have been a little obsessed with carriers in terms of Sketchup Modeling. All because of Avenger's Helicarrier that debuted itself 2012, it has caught my attention since and I have been spending my free time modeling on Sketchup. Check out my blog specifically on my work http://intrinsicaldesign.blogspot.com/. I am trying to get in touch with people that love doing Sketchup work and get inspired and to inspire people about it.
My ending of the year is closed with the focus of The Hobbit's Desolation of Smaug. The movie somehow seemed to capture my attention rather passively. I did not had much expectations for it as I was not too impressed with the first movie. But this one left me with a different feel for the movie, interestingly just because of one element of the movie that was at the end of it. The soundtrack that they interestingly used for the movie seemed unconventional from its usual Celtic taste to a more temporary twist. I am talking about Ed Sheeran's I See Fire, which I thought was the element even as a closing for the movie; wrapped it up beautifully with great expectations for the last movie to come.
Happy New Year to you; if I must say. But carry on in endurance and renew in your faith daily and may you find God in greater amazement and with pleasant surprises.
