Pride

It comes at moments when you least expect of it and comes at moments when no one is seeing...

It is never always obvious for it lurks like a cancer that grows to the point when you feel the pain. It never only comes in the form that is deducible to what we think it is.

I cannot stress enough the dangers of pride that comes from faith that is not evaluated. Because faith that is blinded due to trusting in the repeated occurrences that has always been is never wise. What I really mean is that when we put faith in things simply because it is how its done in the past and to expect the same to happen again is not a very wise way to go about life. Faithfulness that is displayed by God in our past simply serves to remind us that He is always there but never to be taken as He will always do it the same way.

Less we notice... we may place our faith in something that we take for granted and slowly slip into pride, thinking that success will repeat itself for whatever the reason it may be, and very often that reason is pride for me...
