Truth from Sovereign Revelation

There needs to be a clear understanding about the origins of Christianity. As many people are questioning the validity of the bible and how it comes about as a reliable source for faith, we all are scrambling about picking an answer and side of what we stand for.

So as we strive to defend our faith and its apologetic, we ought to understand the truth that we hold fast to. How do we explain to people that the word of God is inspired by the Spirit and it is not out of human attempts.

Even as in within Christendom, where the diversity of churches are claiming what they know and how they interpret scripture and essentially determining absolute ethics that dictates how life should be lived by.

This is a difficult issue to deal with today but one essential that we need to know is that truth; to which how we derive our faith from, comes from revelation and not from our conjuration. As believers we need to understand that we get truth because God gave it, not because we came up with it ourselves to which is from human's doing where anyone can boast and claim absolute. But truth comes from God's revelation and such is an assurance we would not know unless God reveals.

Even to the point where Christians are arguing over how scripture is being interpreted and making absolute statements that does not necessarily apply to every existing context. There are certain things in scripture that clearly states what is absolute and we as all Christians ought to take it as a universal principle to adhere to but knowing that there is a danger of having the habit of formulating right and wrongs to the point that believers are living their lives jsut by this right or wrongs and not listening to God in an intimate relationship with Him.

Legalism is the game being played where we live by so much of what we personally interpret as right and wrong and not depending on God for His daily revelation.
