Do not run away
please, do not run away
The path you're taking
is a past you meant to stray
What's here is something different
here is something new
but more important its something
that will truly fulfill you
what memories are you holding on
what comfort you seek to find
what is holding you back
in a life you were meant to shine
there is no formulation
of how to walk this path
of which is to be chosen
or which is my better half
there is only one condition
one that sets it all
the Beholder of all truth
that beckons rise and fall
from Him we lay our breath
our acts, our thoughts, our heart
from Him lies satisfaction
and none if we are apart
do not run away from this
do not run back to that door
even if familiarity comforts
but inside you're yearning much more
the answer is not the choices you make
nor the regrets that clings to each
but the Person that grants you life
no matter how you reach
it is not seeking perfection
nor is it seeking needs
its not even being happy
but all about joy in His deeds
Such joy is a guarantee
not of circumstances or choices
but because of the truth
that He truly loves us
