Guide Vs Approver

What good is it if you pursue your dreams, yet fall empty at the Lord's coming...

I was reminded recently about the call again that gave me peace. For in everything that we do as believers in Christ within the church, is that people comes first. Not the agendas, the programs, the plans but rather the people. But even as a comparison that never bleak is that beyond people and ministry and plans, is the very essence of God.

For we make decisions all our lives, everyday and yet with that, we fail to consider our decisions to be one that is God pleasing. What good then when we have strive so hard but God sits back wondering... "I didn't ask you to do that!" So we claim all our heart and plans as if we are doing God a favor in subjecting our considerations with Him in it but not seeking what He wants for us in the first place.

There is a twist of the the general American Christianity that somehow places God at the end of our agendas as oppose to the beginning. In truth, God should be in every aspect of our timelines but the motion of what I am saying is more of an attitude that we have in running our lives. We somehow have made God to do the task of approval, as oppose to guide. We place God in the end of all our dealings to ask for His okay, but not go first to Him and seek directions and approaches.

What is scary is that we can be running on our own plans our whole lives and fail to recognized that all that we have done will end up meaningless in the very end. God let the wheat and the weed grow together, the sheep and the goats mingle but at the end of time...God separates very painfully for those who are unaware of what they have been doing in their lives have mount up to nothing for eternity.

Put God first, let him decide the rest of your life...
