Demanded Call

There is a much deeper and vigorous responsibility that comes from those that answers the call of ministry.

I had several moments lately that highlights the difficulty of one that proclaims the name of Jesus. The unhindered burden of humanity and all its weaknesses alone is tough but adding on of the conscious of a life that pursues perfection that is called by God is a whole different burden. There is no perfection that which any of us can obtain, but rather it is the pursuit of it that is called by God in Matthew 5. It is a never-ending struggle to try to meet perfection with the strength of the Spirit is the call, as Paul would describe this as a race in obtaining the prize.

The brokenness that lingers around us places us in a place where all our conscience begs us to confront the reality that God is explaining to us through scripture. But this is a heavy conscience and to live by it demands conviction and faithfulness. But that is just the very meaning to be a Christian. If we claim so much for Jesus and in His name but yet we are unable to display it out, we are making empty claims.

I am indirectly bringing forth the notion of suffering for the sake of Christ... which knowing the difficulty when facing this world in comparison to what scripture has called us to be, but still endure through it all.

So whether it is from the intimacy of a family member, to the church member, and to the vast political standpoints... the call to be a follower of Christ demands...
