The love for sin
There is an analogy that has been running through my head for a while now in regards to the transformation that takes place when God comes and cleanse us of our sins. For when the burden and the yoke of sin is lifted from us, there is an usual sense of enlightenment and freedom that we are not used to, simply because our very nature is prone and depended to sin; as Romans 5 describes our slavery to it. So at the liberty from sin that is made perfect by Christ, we experience a sense of weightlessness that we find hard to embrace and we would often revert to our very nature of sin to anchor ourselves back down. We are so also because we love sin, John 3:18-19 tells of our nature that is embedded in sin which hate to be exposed in the light.
